The first was 3 years ago and it is still going strong. Very easy install even if you have only a little wiring experience. One is set to control 3 separate 5W bulbs (G40 bases) and the wire run is about 35 ft total. No problem there. Another, pictured, is for 5 hanging net lamps that look great with dimmable control for low light ambiance. I have never noticed any heat coming off of the dimmer controller and the wiring is easy as the common side has a raised rib on it to tell easily in polarity matching. I recommend these dimmers! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works...mostly *by A***N on January 18, 2022* We use remote switches to turn on the torchaire light this is now in. If you use the dimmer and it's set lower than almost full brightness, the lamp won't turn on using the remote switch.BUT, it is an exact replacement for this lamp that was built in the early 80's, so for that alone it's well worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits And Works Well *by 1***1 on April 24, 2023* I used this to convert a halogen torchiere lamp to LED.
