I love the loop for securing the front. It adds a different look to the cape that is not present in others I own. I do wish that it was a little longer for my 5'9" frame. It doesn't cover enough of my arms and the back could be more generous as well. While the fabric is really nice, I can't say that this poncho is all that warm. I think it's nice for a crisp autumn day or a chilly spring evening, but I don't find it sufficient for winter, especially with so much of my arms being exposed. I had hoped it would be warmer since I have a shoulder injury and capes are the best choice for me right now, since getting in and out of them is so much easier than a coat. But sadly, I will have to use a different one this winter.
