I haven't measured it. But it's long enough for a tall guy like me to use comfortably. **Q: Will this pick up cat litter on a carpet?** A: It should - providing it'a a low carpet (no shag!) I used it on my outdoor carpet and it picks up everything from carpet fuzz, to leaves to rocks, pieces of chips and food crumbs from the grand kids! I love this little sweeper! **Q: I misplaed the brush/comb that came with it to clean the rollers. How can I purchase a new one?** A: I don’t remember getting those with mine. I use scissors to cut strings and hair then pull it off of the rollers. It comes off just as it would from hairbrush bristles and just takes a little work. It really is a good little sweeper.
