I purchased an older pool table that had been stored in a car port.  The slate was still in great condition, but the felt was terrible.  I decided for the price I paid, I would just live with the felt (I am by no means a pro player).  Then I saw a video that showed how to re-felt a pool table, and I purchased Mali felt in camel color.  The entire job took less than four hours, and the table looks beautiful.  The felt plays very well, and the Teflon treatment works wonderfully.  The felt resists liquids, and cleaning the chalk is very easy.  The company that I bought this from is Bankshot Billiards, and you can find them in the Amazon Marketplace.
