However, not sure they are a snug enough fit. They do not have substantial grip, no straps on the instep side. We’ll see! I tried them on and although they say they are an 8 wide, they fit more like a 7 1/2 wide. The strap does not hold onto my foot as I had expected it to, but they make my foot look pretty. I think these will work well for me. The heel is low and comfortable. Although I would had liked them to have an extra strap to feel a little more secure, my ancles swell, and for this reason maybe it was good that they didn't. I used to were 7 1/2 regular, but through the years my foot has gotten wider but these will work. I would recommend these for anyone who needs an elegant shoe, without too much heel.
