If this were 1980, these would be an excellent traditional black ball. But, time has moved on, and the regulation USHA handballs are a little lighter and slightly softer. The means less bruising (almost none). These EDTL handballs bring back fond memories of years gone by (I was younger then), but not fond memories of bruises and less bounce. EDTL handballs need a redesign to modern USHA standards. I bought 1 can to try them, but was "sorely" disappointed. However, their gloves are excellent - long lasting and never get wet during play.
