Highly recommend and stay amazing friends! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a great sword/shield! *by G***0 on October 8, 2013* My daughter (8) wanted to be a knight to a friend's medieval party. So, we grabbed a costume from our favorite shopping store (it really is Amazon), and this sword shield. I have to say I was entirely surprised by what a great accessory this was! Both sword and shield are sturdy, hard-shelled plastic. This means they feel really solid as opposed to the more flimsy accessories that some of the other kids at the party had. The design actually looks really cool, and the shield handles (which are cloth, but sturdy) can be used to sling whole thing onto your back (truly knight-style!). Plus, being able to sheath the sword into the shield itself made for a handy carrying case and was itself a very cool idea. I can't say enough good things about it. Probably this would be the right size for anywhere between a 5 year old to maybe a smaller 11yo; after that it might not be quite large enough.
