I bought this as a last ditch effort hoping it would fit my 5 gal jug. Thankfully it does and works perfectly! The stopper it comes with is a bit too small (not horribly, just a tab bit off) but the airlock fits into my old stopper so I just use that instead.

A: Thanks. You will use a #6.5 or #7 stopper for most 5 gallon glass carboys. You will need a #10 stopper for 5 gallon plastic carboys.

A: Thanks for asking. The stopper has a 26mm bottom diameter and a 31mm top diameter.

**Q: How do you know it’s done it’s job?**
A: When the inside portion stops moving,I personally prefer the s-types

**Q: Will this airlock work with a  2 gallon mr beer lbk?**
A: Measure the opening on your container and see if anywhere near the size of the opening on a one gallon jug, to make a seal, and it should work great.

Fits perfectly! Universal size in my opinion. I make a lot of mead so I was in despair when I found out my dad had thrown my old airlock into the recyclables.
