It is a high quality hardback, with each guitar not only being meticulously photographed for the auctions themselves, but with additional photographs of them “in action”, comprehensive details as to their specification and when / where Eric used them and also comments by Eric himself. Some guitars, understandably, receive more attention than others (Blackie and Brownie getting star treatment). The estimated price and actual selling price of each guitar is also included, which is a nice touch.I was really impressed with this book. It really is great value for money and, having seen Eric Clapton perform many times since the early nineties, it was fascinating to identify the guitars he used and learn the history behind them.
