To make our subs even more reliable, KICKER engineers developed Forced-Air Cooling to help our CompRT subs run 20 percent cooler. Place the TRTP under your truck seat or cargo area for great bass – no grille needed! Review: Great for smaller vehicles - Great punch and frequency response. Clear and not muddy or boomy. Doesn't foof like a ported box, stays tight and covers the range. Goes well into 150 Hz for those bass tones and not just the kick drums. Heavy, solid enclosure. Not overwhelmingly loud, but these Kicker subs are supposed to have a long break-in period so I expect more volume after 50 hours. Fits my vehicle, that is priority number one along with the sound. I am happy with it for a little 8" woof.
