The size is slightly small. I bought the medium, my regular size, and it fit well. The top is stretchy and somewhat fitted. Just skimmed the body. The neckline is lower but modest without showing cleavage. I would not want the shirts any smaller for comfort. This shirt may not hide tummy or back bulges. Although a larger size could be purchased and tried if you prefer a looser fit. Both tops washed well, dried in the dryer well --no shrinking--. Layered nicely under a jacket. Fabric is too heavy to layer under a tight sweater or another t shirt.
