This product is recommended by kirdi/schluter when filling in gaps or voids on your tile backer board. Works well and a tip is if you use this product baby wipes will clean it off most surfaces.

Great for bathroom tile jobs. Seal & adhesive to metal tight with no water leaks. Use for foam backing jobs where you don't want water to leak behind what you seal. You get what you pay for with this product.

Works Well, But Pricey!
~BACKGROUND~ I purchased this product to use to apply tile to 16" W x 20" H x 4" D Tile Redi Standard Double Niche - RN1620D-BI and Single Curb Square Shower Base Size: 48"W x 34"D . ~PROS~ - Sticks and sticks well. - Free shipping (it better be at this price!) - Excess can be cut or scraped off with a utility knife after it dries. ~CONS~ - Expensive! - Gets messy as it continues to ooze out of the tube after you have stopped pumping it. - One tube does not do much. - Kerdi/Schulter are misleading when they state that this is the only product that is usable. ~TIPS~ - I read in a different review that a user purchased Sikaflex (polyurethane sealant) which worked just as well for him at 1/4 of the cost. I'm not sure which type as he did not indicate this is his review. - The sealant is a little on the "wet" side so I applied to the tile as needed and let it sit for a few minutes so that it got a bit tacky before affixing to vertical surfaces. ~CONCLUSION~ The product works as intended, albeit at a significant cost. I wish I had read the review about Sikaflex and tried that as well.
