Review: Good subwoofer at an honest price - I like the control of several parameters via software app. This gives a lot of control at your fingertips. I downloaded RAW software and bought its recommended calibrated microphone. Now I am experimenting to optimize the sound. Being a sealed subwoofer, the output is short tailed and controlled. The power is sufficient. Not fancy as the KEF's but very competitively priced.
Review: exceeded expectations - Considering the price, it’s great. Works well in 500sqft room.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I connect my bookshelf speakers so that only the sub handles the low frequencies?**
A: That sub hits like a champ so keep it simple and turn bass down on reciever and just hook lowpass on sub

**Q: Can I use the banana plugs on my SB-1000 pro?**
A: SB-1000 Pro has terminals to accommodate speaker-level input from a power amplifier. SVS SoundPath Ultra Speaker Cable have gold-platted brass spades that work well, albeit being expensive. Ordinary banana plugs won't fit the SB-1000 speaker input without major physical configuration. I recommend staying with the line-level input.

**Q: What are the actual dimensions HxWxD?**
A: From our SVS experts at ListenUp, an SVS Authorized Dealer:

Dimensions (w/ grille): 13.5” (342mm) H X 13” (330mm) W X 14.76” (375mm) D
Dimensions (without grille): 13.5” (342mm) H X 13” (330mm) W X 13.9” (352mm) D

**Q: Hello, would this sub work on an integra dtr 9.1?**
A: I do not own an Onkyo Integra dtr 9.1. It's appears somewhat comparable to a Yamaha RX-1010 that I have been using for many years, more recently with the SVS SB-1000. Using the SB-1000, expect the bass to extend lower with good accuracy. If you expect overpowering low end, you may want to consider two SB-1000 or larger SVS subwoofers.
