The selection of women's tactical protective gloves is woefully limited as far as I can determine. However, this may not be that much of a problem for me, because maybe I can wear men's gloves. It's funny to think my hands would be unusually large for a female, as I'm rather small, I'm 5'4" about 110 and I usually wear a small in just about anything. I wear size 8 shoes, though, and those one-size women's gloves are always too small. So maybe I should order a pair of men's gloves just to see. Anyway, i went to the company website and downloaded the glove size chart, and measured to be sure it had printed the correct size. The chart is rather odd, though, when it comes to the comparison of men's and women's sizes, which are both on the same chart. After measuring my hand on the chart I was still not sure of my size, so I ordered a medium, and although I could get it on my hand, it was much too small, fingers too short, too narrow across the knuckles, and the cuff hitting around my lower palm. Sent it back and ordered a large, and this size is tolerable. If the gloves eventually stretch a bit, the fit might even become pretty good. However, there's not really a whole lot of difference between medium and large. It's a small amount of difference, just enough that the cuff at my wrist falls just barely below my palm and my knuckles and fingers have a tiny bit more room. I would have preferred that they were a little bit larger all around, but I'm not going to bother to send them back, they'll probably be fine for many things. They're very attractive gloves, too -- but that's not really important to me when it comes to this product.
