They arent regulated by the FDA. I would say it's safe, but personally i would wait until after baby is born to see how your supply is. **Q: How to use it?\** A: Good question Kisha! Thank you for asking. The best way to use whole loose herbs is called an infusion which just means steeped for a long time. This extracts the most minerals and vitamins from the herbs. So basically, you just boil water and pour over the herbs and let steep over night. I like to use a french press or quart Ball jar. You put about a half cup of herbs in the bottom and cover with boiling hot water. I like to add lemon and honey also and let it steep overnight. In the morning you strain the herbs and I like to heat the infusion up again and drink it hot. You could also put it in the fridge and drink it as ice tea. If it's too strong you can dilute with more water to taste. Of course it's perfectly fine to make a quick cup of tea also and only steep for a few minutes and enjoy! I hope this helps.
