It absorbs humidity (water) from the air and once water fills to a certain point or the humidity beads dissipate/melt, you throw it away and open a new one. **Q: What amount (weight) of chemical absorber is in each box?** A: Not sure, but they work great **Q: How long do they last before having to replace?** A: I used mine 6 months but I determined when to change according to how much water they collected. My place is on the beach and humidity is always a challenge. I tossed when I had the bottom half filled with water. They did not have an odor and continued to slowly work but felt I should change them in before they did. I am very happy with how these work. My home is not damp or musty at all and that is my goal. . **Q: Is the fresh unscented?** A: None really have a strong scent which you can smell, tbh. I have bought them all, you can smell it if you stick your nose close to the top that’s it. I was hoping our camper would smell lemony and it didn’t. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value *by on Reviewed in the United States October 23, 2026* Works really well and sucks the moisture out of the air. Keeps my shore house smelling fresh. Easy to use and dispose of. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as intended! *by on Reviewed in the United States October 16, 2026* Ordered these because I live in Florida and we have the ac low and outside it’s supper hot so sometimes when have to turn it off moisture builds up inside on the vents, or if we leave the door open too long or cook with hot food. Put these in little corners of every room to help out, mostly put them in closest and my laundry room. The instructions are very clear and I’ve had them up for about a month now and they’ve collected a good amount of moisture in the air and still have room to collect more. Theres no noise, it’s very easy to move them around your home for your needs. It seems to be doing the job well! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No more moisture *by on Reviewed in the United States September 28, 2026* These are awesome. They have great smell and their compact, they fit perfectly out of the way, and they seemed to be doing exactly what they're supposed to do, absorb moisture. I bought mine with the lavender scent and my house smells beautifully, not musky ## Frequently Bought Together - Vacplus Moisture Absorbers 6 pack, 10.5Oz Portable Humidity Absorber Boxes for Your Bathroom, Closet & Car, Dehumidifier with Ocean Fragrance, Light Blue - Vacplus Moisture Absorbers, Hanging Closet Dehumidifier Bags, Humidity Packs, Desiccant, Closet Dehumidifiers with Ocean Breeze Fragrance, 10 Pack, 9.8OZ - DampRid Lavender Vanilla Hanging Moisture Absorber, 16 oz., 3 Pack - Eliminates Musty Odors for Fresher, Cleaner Air, Ideal for Closet, 14% More Moisture Absorbing Power* --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/299722320-moisture-absorber-10-5-oz-strong-absorption-ocean-scent](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/299722320-moisture-absorber-10-5-oz-strong-absorption-ocean-scent) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
