Same goes for any tables you might want to set it in. I would also make sure that the base is heavy enough or that you add extra weights. If it is free standing I would reccomend you use the supplied cross based with appropriate weights. **Q: What size parasol holder for a double parasol please** A: 48mm pole but will require a sturdy base holder **Q: How wide is the pole exactly? You will definitely need an extremely heavy duty stand for it (ours is cast iron and is VERY heavy) and a large area to cover. Customer service was excellent. We’ve bought a cover for it as once up, you certainly won’t want to keep taking it down as it’s so big and bulky. Looks great quality. For the price, well worth it. Wind up mechanism, easy to use. The only issue I had was the courier they used as it was dropped over a wall into our garden with no confirmation that it had been delivered so it was in the garden for a day without our knowledge. May have been an issue if it had been pouring with rain. But the parasol is brilliant! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big and easy to assemble *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 July 2025* Why did you choose this product over others?:It was delivered yesterday, a day early. Easy to assemble, four bolts on the base and it come with a tiny spanner for that purpose. You then screw the pole to the top and then put the whole assembly into the base. The top is a little heavy but I was able to assemble it on my own but two would have made it much easier.For the price I paid, I was not expecting much, but it looks reasonably well made and is really big.
