We had so many caterpillars this year we had to add more parsley. Once ready, they usually make the chrysalis along the frame (see third photo), on the plant or even on the pot. We typically fold them and store for winter so detach any remaining chrysalis from the frame and set them in the planter. One made it to spring and we had a surprise swallowtail in the spring!
