The high resistance Fins are superior in high intensity lower body water exercises. Review: Both the blue ankle and the pink shin fins saved me from having knee replacement surgery. I’ve been using both resistance fins on each of my legs for three years now. So yes I have two different fins on each leg. I really wish the manufacturer would figure out a way to create a tighter fit for the ankle application. Like many other reviewer‘s, I have also found that the product will spin around and it is often impossible to tighten them enough to avoid this from happening. I think they actually need to create two different sizes and even though the newer ones seem to have better adjustment, they really are still not adjustable. Having said all of this I still cannot recommend these enough and I believe I accomplished improvements in my quads, hamstrings and glutes in a short period of time that would have taken probably a ridiculously long time and traditional land-based physical therapy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I'm still unsure which resistance is best for me.**
A: Resistance is relative to the size of the fins and the speed at which they are moved through the water. The medium resistance is considered an "all-purpose" size and works well for most users. Stronger individuals should opt for the High Resistance.

**Q: I have bigger ankles; will they fit?**
A: Most likely yes. The fins fit up to 13" in circumference. Larger ankles can be accommodated with the use of an additional Strap/Pad set.

**Q: How do the fins stay on and secure?**
A: The fins simply wrap around your ankle and attach via a Velcro overlap. When the fins are fitted nice and tight (compressing the neoprene slightly) they should stay in place. An occasional adjustment while they break-in is normal.

**Q: I saw you also sell Aquastrength Fins. How do they compare to these?**
A: Aquastrength Fins are only available in one resistance level which most closely compares to the High Resistance Fins. The Aquastrength Fins have a dual strap closure which can be easier to secure for those with dexterity limitations.

**Q: How do I fit these on my wrists?**
A: It can be a bit tricky to fit these for the first time. It is best to lay the fin in your lap and place your wrist over it. This will give some support while you use one hand to make the connection. You can also hold a wrapped fin with you hand.

Wish I had these a long time ago! I have just about every kind of swim workout item there is. I love these. They kick your butt. My legs and butt are sore from two workouts. Make sure to put the soft material all the way to one side so you don't get scratched by velcro. I am hoping velcro lasts long enough to get my money's worth out of them. They are nicely made, but velcro with chlorine worries me. Definitely washing them off with regular water after the pool. You can use them for water aerobic type of stuff or swimming laps and kicking. I try to make my own aqua boot camp with all this stuff. If you want a real workout, get these!!
