I regularly put lemons and ice cubes down my garbage disposal to clean the inside of the unit so my unit never has a smell problem but occasionally there is a build up of slime on the top and under the rubber splash guard which I've cleaned in the past with a rag but not very thorough as the splash guard on my unit does not remove. I tried this brush and I can't believe I've been struggling to clean the rubber all this time when there was this handy little brush to clean with great ease.
