The net is attached to the glas in the portlight with suction cup or a magnet (with a taped metal plate on the glas). The suction cup or magnet is attached to the glas with a cord. The cord is running through an eyelet in the bug screen. You use the cord to press the bug screen against the opening of the portlight. The bug screen just need to be larger than the opening of the portlight to "seal" the opening and prevent mosquitoes to come in. You don't need to drill or make work on your boat. Just a attach the suction cup or the magnet and you are set to go. /Per **Q: How many screens in the package** A: It’s a bundle kit of two screens. However, from the reviews and in my experience it is hit and miss which accessory you get in terms of magnets and/or suction cups.
