I bought it initially because my daughter lives here with six cats, she smokes (only outside) and those odours come in on her clothes, in her hair, and hang around in the air. We also have a dog. So, I was finding the laundry associated with the animals and my daughter weren’t smelling clean even after being laundered. Pot smoke is especially difficult to eradicate. Used in every load of laundry, in the right dose, this is the closest I’ve come to wiping out the smell of pot in clothing. Pretty amazing really considering I’ve put things through three times in the past without this additive, with no success. I stuck my nose in the last load and couldn’t smell it at all. Happy with it and although expensive, it’s worth it for cleaner smelling laundry. I add just a small amount (measuring out the amount using the reservoir within the bottle) to laundry detergent. Blankets come out smelling fresh and clean after only one wash.
