The PAC RP4.2-TY11 Radiopro4 Ty11 is a premium radio replacement interface designed for 2001-2016 Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles. It flawlessly retains steering wheel controls, JBL and JBL Synthesis audio systems, and factory 3.5mm aux inputs. ## Description

PAC continues to make it faster and easier for installers to add the latest technologies into the vehicle. The RadioPRO4 RP4.2-TY11 radio replacement interface is designed for 2001 to 2016 Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicle models. The module enables installation of an aftermarket radio while retaining the factory steering wheel control functions as well as maintaining compatibility with the factory JBL and JBL Synthesis amplified audio systems, and the built-in 3.5 mm auxiliary audio jack. The built-in USB connection and backup camera can also be retained in conjunction with an optional PAC harness.

Review: Works like a charm - It works just as advertised. I even bought mine "used" on desertcart for a fraction of the price and it arrived in original packaging basically open box. Model PAC RP4.2-TY11 Radiopro4 Ty11. My application is for 2005 Toyota Solara with factory JBL amp. I chose this model harness because it includes connections for steering wheel controls and fader. The wiring looks menacing, at first. 4 page Instructions walk you through it but appear to have been written with a professional installer as an audience. Some tips: ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME FOR THIS INSTALL. On a day prior to the install, familiarize yourself with all the terminals of the harness (they are labelled) and read the instructions, every word, over and over until it's totally clear to you. They are detailed and somewhat complicated. But it's totally doable. Call PAC tech support if it's not clear. There are a few unused terminals which you will need to insulate (I used heat shrink tubing, but electrical tape would work). Alow at least 1 hour to connect the wiring from this harness to the harness provided with your radio (I used and strongly recommend Posi-Products screw type reusable quick connectors). During the install, test every feature prior to reassembling the dash. Really, the install into the vehicle was the easy part. I am 51 and this was my first install since the 1980s. I pulled it off, so can you.
Review: Worked with Toyota Venza JBL system with factory SWC - Replaced the JBL head unit in my wifes 2011 Venza and this worked perfect. You can still use fader front to back and left to right. Also kept the steering wheel controls. Only thing was it came with older instructions that didn't really clarify how to connect steering wheel control wires. (Missing 1 wire color connection) After going onto there website and looking up the model, the proper updated instructions were found. The swc ground wire is already grounded so no need to worry about that. Just connect key1 & key2 wire to proper vehicle harness wires and you should be ready to go. That was the only confusing part but ended up being so simple in the end. I Overthought it! Lol Oh and make sure the little plug is in the unit good. I had to pull head unit back out a few days later after losing sound to some speakers. I ended up just pushing the little plug on the side of the module in a little more and problem solved..

**Q: What are "navigation outputs"? Why would this device need to "output" the headunit's navigation?**
A: If your vehicle already has a navigation system and it was passed through the factory radio. The RadioPRO4 allows you to use it as the interface. Review #6 on page 2 of the installation steps. Depending on the vehicle and navigation outputs will determine if you can use the RadioPRO4 per the instructions.

**Q: 2012 tacoma - no voltage on oem camera power, should i get cam-ty11?**
A: You need to build the DC-DC voltage converter. The camera is only 6V so you need to make a converter. If you look on the internet you can find them or the Cam-TY11 will get you there too. I have 4runner and just made the converter for a couple bucks.

**Q: Do you have a similar harness that will work on a 2018 wrx sti ?**
A: No

**Q: is it for Prius 2013?**
A: Call Best Buy. They do radio  installation. They were the ones who told me to get this kit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great and cheapest option

Works great for my 2017 Corolla SE so I'm hoping to let people know who may have the same car.. Easy install but I had to call them a few times. I used with the CAMTY12 and USBTY1 to keep my factory backup cam and factory USB. The song skip doesn't work every time though :\ You plug the USBty1 into the USB port of your radio that you would normally use for Carplay, and then you connect to Carplay through the factory port. I had to call about the backup cam but I forgot to connect the violet wire to my reverse on the head unit. Also, make sure you connect the parking break green wire, because I didn't and I had to unhook it all and wire that up.
