I don't want unsanitary water getting on my bathroom floor. Thanks!** A: I always use a bit of honest detergent mixed with water to spray the diaper with first, then afterwards I spray the spray pal off with a bit bronners mixed with water, then I store it on top of a dog pad so it can air out. **Q: Is there anything special you have to do to clean the actual shield? Or how do you clean the actual spray pal shield?** A: No, it is pretty straightforward. You can pop open the snaps, lay the Spray Pal flat and clean it with a cloth, soap and water. Easy breezy. **Q: This might be a silly question, but what do you do with it once it's all wet with poopy water? Do you keep a bucket next to the toilet?** A: I used cloth diapers for my babies before this came along. I shook the poo into the toilet and then I placed the diaper into a 1 gallon bucket that was filled with vinegar and water in equal parts until the bucket was half full. I had enough diapers to last about a week. Every Sunday I would empty the bucket liquid and all into the washer and put it on spin. Then I would wash the diapers with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 detergent. Then I would wash the diapers again with detergent and dry them as normal without fabric softener. My diaper bucket never smelled as I used vinegar. The sprayer and shield would have been nice though for certain diapers. **Q: I love the idea of this! Can you tell me how you store it between uses?** A: Thanks, Stacy! The Spray Pal shield folds flat for easy storage. We slip ours into a wetbag that hangs on the back of our bathroom door. Some families choose to leave their Spray Pal in the "open" position and they set it in a bin or on a towel next to the toilet. Hope this helps! ## Frequently Bought Together - Spray Pal Cloth Diaper Splatter Shield - Purrfectzone Bidet Sprayer for Toilet, Handheld Sprayer Kit, Cloth Diaper Sprayer Set - Easy to Install - Stainless Steel - Arofa Handheld Toilet Bidet Sprayer for Toilet-Adjustable Water Pressure Control with Bidet Hose for Feminine Wash, Stainless Steel Brushed Nickel Cloth Diaper for Baby Wash --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/289051474-spray-pal-original-cloth-diaper-sprayer-splatter-shield-pre-rinse](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/289051474-spray-pal-original-cloth-diaper-sprayer-splatter-shield-pre-rinse) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
