As I believe Kirkland is a Costco brand, this could have been purchased at Costco and was being resold. In my case, upon receipt and opening the package the chocolate appeared to be past its due date, which appeared to be rubbed off from the bottom of the package. I will never purchase these again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to purchase them. It happened once before but I thought I would try again to get them just to see if it was a one time bad purchase. Now I know it wasn’t since this time they were the same way.
