However it would likely require more frequent emptying/draining of the original mop water and cleaner as both compartments in that model seem relatively small, thus the dirty side would fill up rather quickly and one would have to dump both clean and dirty to create more room on the one side. Whereas with this model, one can simply fill up a sink or stationary/additional bucket for dirty water/clean water, and not waste one's own time, money on cleaners/water, and energy making more work for oneself. If you have a small apartment/area to mop, the two compartment design may work best for you.
