Review: For Stanley Collector - I bought this for daily mug but ended up storing it as part of my Stanley collection. It is just a bit odd for daily coffee mug. Could keep the temperature as promised, feels solid and its Stanley.
Review: Love the wide bottom of this thermos! - This is a wonderful thermos! I love the wide bottom making it harder to knock over. I love the color white! Easy to clean. The only thing you have to remember is it will not fit a cup holder in your car/truck. Too wide for that. But the top does snap shut very well and you could set it in the floorboard of your car until you get to where you are going and it won't spill out. This is a rather expensive product in my opinion, but the wide bottom is rare and I guess why it cost more.

**Q: What type of material is this made of?**
A: Seems it’s just a metal thermos wrapped black sheath. It doesn’t tip, about 4” wide on bottom. It keeps heat pretty good, but not hot like the old Stanley products.

**Q: Where do i get another lid.searched everywhere**
A: Stanley will not sell us another lid. They couldn't care less about helping customers. They told me flat out and directly via email.

**Q: Is the sidewall inside straight or it follows the outside sidewall shape with corners?**
A: Not straight, It follows the outside shape with corners.

**Q: Can ye remove the top seal with not removing the handal?**
A: Yes. You can take the lid off separately. The handle is secured to the mug.

This is a wonderful thermos! I love the wide bottom making it harder to knock over. I love the color white! Easy to clean. The only thing you have to remember is it will not fit a cup holder in your car/truck. Too wide for that. But the top does snap shut very well and you could set it in the floorboard of your car until you get to where you are going and it won't spill out. This is a rather expensive product in my opinion, but the wide bottom is rare and I guess why it cost more.

As a senior with arthritic fingers my hand coordination isn't the best these days. Tall mugs with narrow footprints have, unfortunately, become accidents waiting to happen around here. I'm not a coffee drinker. I use this mug at home to keep my water cool throughout the day. Yes, it does this very well. As some reviewers have commented, this mug is a bit heavy when full. (Because of my physical limitations, I usually support this mug with my off hand while drinking). Weight considerations aside, a WIDE BASED mug like this with an anti-skid rubberized bottom and low center of gravity, fits my needs perfectly. Accidental bumps with this product are simply NOT an issue. For the most part I like the lid on this mug. Snapped closed this product doesn't leak a drop though it is a bit difficult to open. (Since I won't be traveling with this mug, I'll circumvent this problem by closing the lid just enough to keep nuisance insects from taking unscheduled dips). The segmented hinge is a nice feature and does a good job of keeping the closure out of your face while drinking. Though not perfect in every way, this is a nice product. In all honesty I would give this mug 41/2 stars. Since I can't do that I believe it is good enough to earn the full 5 stars
