Review: Fits Celestron Evolution 6 WITH it’s mount! - So I thought some of you might like to know for SURE that this bag WILL fit the Celestron Evolution 6” with its mount with room to spare! I assume that it would also fit the nextstar 6SE as well. Nice bag, good padding, good value, seems sturdy enough and the zipper seems decent enough. If you are looking for a less expensive option to protect your telescope and mount together. This is a great option!

I Also wanted to NOT have to remove the 2inch diagonal mirror at the end, and this bag nicely met this requirement. The carrying strap, web handles seem sturdy to handle the weight of the assembly. The materials and padding should be good enough to protect the tube and mirrors. I still will be careful to not ‘bang’ the bag around. It’s far safer to carry like this for field trips. Got the C11 bag for my needs. Length is perfect. The inside strap helps to OTA to stay secure, and good amount of room if you want carry extra padding. Glad I went ‘up a size’. Other reviews said the 9.25 bag was a tight fit so this isn’t a compromise. Now I need to find something for the Mount……appreciate any suggestions!

So I thought some of you might like to know for SURE that this bag WILL fit the Celestron Evolution 6” with its mount with room to spare! I assume that it would also fit the nextstar 6SE as well. Nice bag, good padding, good value, seems sturdy enough and the zipper seems decent enough. If you are looking for a less expensive option to protect your telescope and mount together. This is a great option!

This bag is nicely made, sturdy and has extra room for accessories. The main compartment is padded, though it could probably use a bit more. The bag fits "snugly"; there is not a lot of room for the OTA to wiggle but that also means that it takes some effort to get it in. The right bag for a Celestron C11.
