Gentle on my vinyl liner, but easily picks up everything on the floor. Absolutely no issues with suctioning to the bottom and getting stuck! It is not as heavy as the triangle version, but no issues keeping it on the bottom as you work.

If you are on the fence, buy it! Well worth it! 100% better than the triangle ones I have been using for 20 years! So easy to use.
