Since I like to put a lot in them I cut twist ties in half and i haven't had any problems with that, I also like to recycle as much as I can so I'm able to reuse some..... I am still purchasing more though cause I make the healthy ones with powdered supplements and I do not feel guilty about eating them anytime.....
