I can say this held up very good for the tile outside of my shower. I used it on the floor as well and was very disappointed. No matter what I did including all the steps and it was still sticky and tacky a week later and was easily scratched. I ended up putting a new floor in completely. Good luck on your own adventure. **Q: Anyone able to comment on how it holds up after a couple years?** A: Light colors stain unbelievably easy and do NOT hold up. I purchased the white with the matte sealer, and it is stained by everything from dog pee (which doesn’t even stain clothes) to soaps and cleaners. Tried using Clorox gel on an orangey rust colored stain - which was very strange to begin with because the stain was caused by a CLEAR liquid (ear cleaner) and it somehow turned the floor rust colored - and the sealer turned sticky and gummy. So I would say NO. **Q: How does it hold up to chairs sliding across the floor like when someone sits down at a table or gets up from one? fr one?** A: It doesn't hold up. I did the floor part of my fireplace followed directions and no one ever walks in that area. If my dog runs by it it scratches off easily. It's very frustrating. **Q: What is the minimum time before you can walk on it quickly if it’s the only bathroom in the house?** A: 2 hours with socks. Do not get it wet. My first order was called 'sand' I think, and I used it on my bathroom floor. After the first coat of color went down I spatter painted white and it looks wonderful. Then I put down the clear coat for a satin, non slippery finish. They second time I used this product, I ordered white and (don't laugh), painted my old, stained bathtub. It's like a bathroom make-over for $150. I also used the white to paint over the dated wall tiles. I'm very impressed with the quality and versatility of this paint. Highly recommended!! P.S. it's also fun and easy to use! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by on Reviewed in the United States April 18, 2026* Was very skeptical about this paint but if you follow the directions exactly, this kit does a pretty good job. I painted over some ancient floor tiles and was really impressed with the outcome. Some advice, paint small sections at a time and examine closely for dust, hair, etc., and clean off immediately and before applying the poly, lightly damp mop the floor to pick up any particles as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So glad I invested in this! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 9, 2025* I'd been avoiding refurbishing my 80 year old stairs in my house. So many options and ideas, and I wanted something simple that I could tackle myself, and just breath some new life and a clean look to my steps. The hardest part was making sure I didn't need anything from the upstairs while I waited for the recommended drying time so I could actually use the steps in between coats. I painted the flats black, and the risers white. The paint applies very smoothly, but be sure you're using at least a medium quality brush. Very little odor from the paint or the clear coat. 3 coats of white on the risers and sides, and 3 coats on the flats, and I still have almost half a can of each color left over for touch ups down the line should I need them. The clear coat dries to a medium gloss, and you'd swear it was poly or urethane. The clear coat appears milky in the can, but it's ready to go, just shake and go. It's a bit runny, so be sure you are using good lighting and get all your brush strokes evenly. I also applied pre-cut non-slip carpet treads after I was finished, so all the wear and traffic will be applied to the treads. So we'll see how this paint and clearcoat measures up over time. I didn't even use a 1/4 of the clear coat can, so there's plenty left over for another application, or just to use as a yearly maintenence.
