Review: Great value - It's a great LOC for a 4 channel system which most of the cars use these days. I used it on my car with a factory amp, and that was the main reason to use this as I upgraded the head unit with an aftermarket one. The factory amp just could not digest the hi level input from the aftermarket head unit harness, causing all kinds of static noises. This one got 95% of the buzzing noises. Sometimes I still heard a bit of noise. I returned the unit in the end and went with a 2 of higher quality LOCs which completely removed the buzzing noise. My car is a Honda CRZ which uses a hybrid system, and it's notorious for making static noise compared to non hybrid engine cars. so maybe, this LOC will work for your car if your car is a pure gas car or elec car.

A: Factory radio but even tho your radio says 125 x 4 that is a max rated not a RMS rating so you will be fine

**Q: trying to install sound system (head unit, amp, subwoofers)to 2010 impala that has the stock Bose system. Will this be powerful enough to support that**
A: This item is meant to reduce the signal strength from your aftermarket head unit before it goes into the stock amp, in this case, your Bose stock amp.
If your intent is to continue using the Bose Amp to power your stock Bose speakers, this item does the job.

It's a great LOC for a 4 channel system which most of the cars use these days. I used it on my car with a factory amp, and that was the main reason to use this as I upgraded the head unit with an aftermarket one. The factory amp just could not digest the hi level input from the aftermarket head unit harness, causing all kinds of static noises. This one got 95% of the buzzing noises. Sometimes I still heard a bit of noise. I returned the unit in the end and went with a 2 of higher quality LOCs which completely removed the buzzing noise. This is awesome, we used it on a 2008 Hyundai Sonata with JBL premium sound when we swapped the stock radio for a Android Head Unit, so went Android unit-aftermarket harness-SLC4-factory amp- front and rear speaker, subwoofer was fed straight from HU , it helped not only with the right output level but also helped with adding better grounding, we tried with and without and made a huge difference, it's also cheap and good quality, instructions are clear and helpful, I'd buy again if I want to keep the factory amp and a aftermarket stereo on a future car
