When the pack is full, this foam protrudes, causing the weight of the pack and everything it contains to rest against your back on a narrow ridge of foam, rather than making contact evenly across your back. As shown in the photos. This issue makes the pack very uncomfortable. No pack should work like this, especially not a £200 pack designed to last decades.
