Can be loud and "walks" *by C***T on July 27, 2022* This is a wonderful addition to your painting arsenal. Paints for miniatures, nail polish, other art media that come in small bottles can be hard to mix well. Shaking can cause repetitive stress injury to joints such as wrist and elbow (things like carpal tunnel). If I'm painting with several colors, fatigue sets in and I either have badly mixed paint or my joints aren't up to the fine movement needed for painting after all that slacking. Pros: - no joint fatigue/pain - vastly superior mixing of paint vs shaking - shaking can cause bubbles whereas this doesn't. Cons: - it can be loud if placed on a surface that will exaggerate the sound. Basically: very quiet on a solid tile floor, but extremely loud on a table or desk due to vibration. - The device tends to "walk" if you don't hold the paint bottle just right. It needs to be at a slight tilt that's close to upright. When held at an incorrect angle the device will move around.
