The boots do have a tech toe which is excellent for guys in the electrical trade like me and they are a very nice boot for the price. **Q: Does the 2E fit well or is it still tight in the toe area?** A: The boot does seem to have sufficient room where other brands may use the same toe cap for the regular width as the extra wide. From my perspective, these boots fit as if the were already broken in from day one. I would guess everyone may fit differently but worked for me. **Q: is these steel toe? Thanks** A: they are of a composite material equivalent to steel toes. rated ASTM F2413-11. Hope this helps. **Q: Is this booth waterproofed?** A: Ah that sucks I was just gonna order a pair . How does Reebok market a "Duty" boot and its not waterproof. . Looks like a nice boot too but not waterproof im not buying it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Comfortable *by L***7 on Reviewed in the United States on 29 May 2024* I have tried many brands of safety boots over the years. My biggest issue has been room in the toe area. I needed a boot that allowed all day wear in tough environments that would involve climbing over machinery and similar. I decided to give these boots a try and I am very glad I did so. First and foremost they are very comfortable. They flex enough to make climbing around on machines no issue. Due to the various environments I may work in, I wanted a boot versus a safety shoe, so that I had some degree of ankle protection. The cherry on top is that these boots have a side zipper. That way once you get the laces adjusted to how you like, simply zip the side to get in and out, no more adjusting laces. For me that is an issue since I frequently have long drives to the work site, and wear comfortable shoes for the commute then have to deal with putting on the boots in the parking lot, sometimes in the rain or snow. Now not an issue. I typically wear a 10.5 wide to 11 wide shoe depending on make. For safety shoes I usualy go a 1/2 size bigger to allow room for my toes due to safety toe. I was worried when I ordered these as they only had the size 11 wide available in the "Try before buy" option. I decided to order figuring the toe area would be tight and I would need to then re-order the 11.5W but to my surprise the 11W fit awesome. I wore them in the office for a full day to test and my feet felt great at the end of the day, absolutely no crowding in toe are or tightness elsewhere. Great Boot. They are also very light in weight as compared to other safety boots I have had over the years.
