This classic Union Products blow-mold plastic garden accessory is still proudly made in the United States and features a replaceable screw on sprinkler head and tulip design on the sides. Watering Can stands 13 inches tall, 17 inches long, and holds 2 gallons of water. Made in the USA.

Review: Good size, easy to use, light weight
Review: I'm a small woman, not especially feeble, but close enough to the ground to have trouble carrying some things that don't cause taller people any difficulty. I really appreciate the design of this can. The upper handle is placed and shaped so that the weight of the water is directly below the hand, not offset in some of the weird ways that make other watering cans uncomfortable to carry. And the lower handle is very helpful for directing the spout. Two gallons in this can (that's almost 18 pounds) don't give me any trouble at all. Another plus: when it's full and I walk around with it, water does not splash out the top. I've had other cans that can't take any kind of bumpy action at all, so I've had to hold them away from my leg while walking or risk getting wet (and I often feed plants with fish emulsion, which is not a nice perfume!). This can is very easy to fill - again, a thoughtful, practical design. The rose that came with mine works as well as I'd expect any rose on any plastic can to work: no major drips or leaks, and it's a good rose in terms of hole size and overall shape. Given that it's relatively soft plastic, it's a good idea to be gentle and aware when unscrewing the rose and putting it back on; I'd say that about every plastic watering can. I had one minor quibble when I first unpacked this can: it had a noticeable amount of plastic filings in it which I wish the manufacturer had cleaned up. I'm getting touchy about all the tiny bits of plastic that end up in our garden soil. But from the first time I tried it out, it's been so much better and more comfortable than any of our other watering cans that I'm just grateful every time I use it.

**Q: Union Products, which is the company that made these watering cans, closed its doors in 2006. Are these cans REALLY still made in the USA? Where?**
A: Yes, still made in the USA. Union Products is now owned by another plastics manufacturing company in Massachusetts, not too far from the old UP factory. Replacement spouts should be available on Amazon fairly soon.

**Q: How difficult is this to clean the inside?  Thanks.**
A: I don't think you could clean the inside by putting your hand inside. You'd have to have a strong sprayer or a long handled brush to do it. The opening is only about 2". Mine hasn't accumulated anything I'd have to clean out yet.

**Q: Is the sprinkler head removeable? If so, does the can work as intended without it?**
A: Yes!! Its removable but it is used to water tender vegetation but you can use it to water your plants.

**Q: I need to replace the white sprinkler head. I can't find it anywhere :-( Does anybody know where I can find it, since Union closed their doors??**
A: I had the same problem and could not find an exact replacement; however, I did find that the "Novelty Nozzle for Basic Green Watering Can, 2-Gallon (by Novelty)" will work.  The ID and threads don't match exactly, but if you muscle it on these replacement sprinkler heads work very well.  Please note that these replacement heads do water much faster than the OEM head, so if you were using your can for some delicate seedlings -  you may need to adjust your watering technique.
