The pictures I shared were taken the day of writing this review and it's still in pretty great shape except where the holder comes into contact with the D-Ring on the collar. You can see where the tag holder has continuously rubbed against the D-Ring on her collar and worn down the metal over the years. I definitely recommend this product though as anything will eventually wear out over time, especially something with daily use. I'm only buying more since this one is starting to wear down and I have a new puppy so I want one for her collar too. I lost the 2nd one that came with the initial purchase too. Oops.
