So I tried this product with those body scrub gloves (generic from the Body Shop), and it wasn't harsh at all on my skin. Before I got in the shower, I scrubbed my body with a body brush to loosen dead skin. Then in the shower I washed my hair and face beforehand then I did the scrub and rinsed that off and then used a pumice stone just on my feet and finished the shower with cold water. Obviously make sure you don't have any cuts before you use the scrub. The scrub also makes it better if you use it before you shave your legs. When I got out of the shower it didn't leave my skin oily or filmy -- IT WAS SO. SOFT. Then I put on the lotion which also isn't oily, and after using both products for a few weeks now I can honestly say my skin has never been softer. This product also helps with "chicken skin" and ingrown hairs, it's perfect. I only wish I had discovered this sooner, but I'll be using this product a lot going forward.
