The cable stays connected, both physically and electronically speaking, and is the perfect length for using it in the storage box in front of the rider's seat on the Gold Wing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Speed doesn't come cheap *by I***Z on November 22, 2022* Speed was not really a problem when charging/transferring files using a cheap(non-oem)cable since I use it mainly for occasional file access. However when watching movies and accessing direct from my drive, el cheapo didnt work very well, at times not at all. Upgrading to this cable solved the speed issue and found I can transfer large folders in quite quickness speed. It is very well built and seems durable but only time will test(hence the 4 star durability, I will update as needed if I can remember to). It looks fancy and is very compact to fit into the small ssd case. They are real aluminium collets and the rubber casing is supple. The cable is meant to be used flat as shown in my pics. If it needs to hang from the side of a TV, that should work ok too.
