**Q: What is the use of these backflow protector?**
A: if you have a spectra pump and want to use medela like breashields, this protector can do it.  this protector connects between medela like shield and the tubing from your spectra pump.

**Q: Can you use these parts with the spectra s2? The product description says yes, but the picture says no.**
A: If you have a medela flange and want to use it with S2 pump, buy this backflow protector.  If you have an original spectra flange, this backflow protector will not fit it, but it can still fit the tubing end that come from the pump main unit.

**Q: Can i use medela tubing with this or would i need to purchase spectra's tubing?**
A: HI, you can use medela pump in style tubing with this one as long as you cut off the tubing adapter on the tubing.  it is tight fit, but it will work.

**Q: Does this work with spectra M1?**
A: The short end can attach to the tubing from M1, but the long end will need to connect to a Maymom or Medela flange, not a spectra widemouth flange.
