Why 4 stars and not 5? The cut on the individual pieces of jerky is much better when ordering from their website. Not sure why the pieces of jerky were so thick from Amazon. Im obsessed with the big thin pieces that you can almost see through. Ill order from their website next time. If its now just the new cut/standard of their meat, ill order from amazon and save $7. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't have a cow *by S***G on May 26, 2020* TLDR: It's really, really good.Bishop, CA has been an anchor point during my trips to the Eastern Sierra Nevadas for a couple decades. Many of those years more recently, I have made it a point to stop by Mahogany Smoked Meats, which sits right off hwy 395, to have a delicious and filling lunch at the deli and buy some assortment of jerky at thier impressive counter to take with me on the road heading North. Mahogany Smoked Meats is among the best food in town and has some of the best jerky I've ever had. I was ecstatic when I stumbled upon them on Amazon and more so when I found out they shipped to Afghanistan!The jerky is fresh as can be. I think I already mentioned how darn good it is. I highly recommend it. If you're on the fence because of the price, I can understand that, as it's more than twice the cost of some other options with many others offering more product. I can only tell you this is an example of quality over quantity. And you will get quality!Also keep in mind they are among a struggling breed in the market: the small business. Especially during these difficult times through the COVID-19 pandemic.
