Review: I love it! Sturdy, cross shaped, can be sharpened - The price is a little high, but it is a very nice piece! I wanted a sword, without skulls, when in a stand could symbolize a cross, could be sharpened, AND used as a letter opener! Well, this IT!!! Sturdy, functional, and you can put an edge on it! You do have to sharpen it yourself-whhaaa! That's half the fun! The stand desertcart recommends is great too-see the pic!

I was taken aback by not only how beautiful it is to behold, but how effective it is. It really is closer to a miniature replica broadsword than anything else and has a pleasant weight to it. I'd keep it away from the kids but for responsible adults this is a must own item, whether you're a hardcore Game of Thrones fan or simply looking to class up your desk.

**Q: İs it sharp?**
A: The one I received is not sharp.  The blade edge appears roughly 1/16" or about 1.5 mm thick.  The point is some what sharp but due to the thickness mentioned it is not a keen point, it has more of a corner feel to it.  The point would scratch you if mishandled.  Hope this helps.

Nicely made letter opener/sword for the GoT fans. Has a nice heft to it, should last a long time, at least through the coming winter. Could be a bit sharper for letter opening, probably work on it a bit. If you are looking for something different for your mail, pick one up. I gave this one as a gift and she really likes it.
