Tissue near where the phone is held can absorb this energy. I wasn't worried about it then since I rarely used my cell phone (partly because it was HUGE and we still had pay phones everywhere!!) Now that I use it as my primary phone and I've finally admitted that I will likely be tethered to it for the rest of my life I think protecting myself from the minor radiation makes sense. I am also concerned about blue light in the evening and at night so the combination of anti-blue-light and anti-radiation was a great mix for me!I try not to look at my phone at night, but sometimes I have to respond to texts or emails, or set my alarm, (or look at mindless social media for way too long!) I keep my kids away from blue light at night and I can tell they sleep better so I appreciate that I can now look at my phone without damaging my own sleep. I also sometimes wake up in the night and I try to keep myself from checking the time, but I find I often can't go back to sleep unless I know if it's 1:30 in the morning or 4:00. Checking the time comes with a blast of blue light that doesn't help any in getting back to sleep! They say the anti-blue light helps protect your retinas, but I hadn't realized that was a danger- I just want to sleep enough to be a nicer mom to my kids! My Cross Fit friends would be all over this product!The protective screen cover goes on smoothly. The company includes screen cleanser, a dust cloth, and a sticker to clean up every speck of dust so when the cover goes on it looks clean and doesn't add any bulk. It's a clear, super-thin, hard piece of glass that's also flexible and sticks right over the front of the phone. For me I wanted the anti-radiation and anti-blue light, so that it really protects the screen and doesn't interfere with the touch operation of the phone makes it all the more awesome. I have a protective case over the sides and back and it fits fine with this screen protector!I got this item for a discounted rate in return for an unbiased review, no strings attached. This protective cover does exactly what I was looking for! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good protection, not good with cases *by D***A on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on July 8, 2016* I was excited to receive this product because I wanted a good protection for my screen and I liked the anti blue property of this item. I'm not sure of the validity of the anti radiation claim because I have seen nothing to support or refute this. As a screen protector it is nice as it is a decent thickness and sturdy. This touch sensitivity of the phone screen doesn't seem to be negatively impacted unless you use the screen along with a protective case like lifeproof or otter box. With those cases the touch sensitivity is significantly reduced and frustrating. This is not a fault of the product but the combination of items. Because I really need the full phone protection I unfortunately won't be able to use this screen protector with my case. Be careful when cleaning the glass because if you bend it too much it will crack because it is plexiglass, not plastic. The screen adheres very easily to the phone screen without significant bubbles or air spaces but I'm not confident that it will have long staying power over time.
