We applied our M80 Hybrid case design to create an incredibly light yet ridged case for 49 and 61 key controllers. An innovative dual hinge design allows for either top-loading quick access or traditional horizontal opening. Create a custom fit for your keyboard using the internal width and depth spacers. Originally developed for our Vertigo Guitar Case, the M80 Keyboard case features a hinged front panel that allows for top-loading your instrument. Just the thing for quick setup on a tight stage. It also came with depth and width spacers in the event you had a small keyboard (41 key controllers or MIDI workstations) but the ability to load in my keyboard and not worry about toting around my keyboard in a cheaper soft-case or lugging around a ludicrously heavy hard-case takes a load off my mind. My keyboard is safe and protected but not also not loose or prone to shaking around. It's a nice snug fit. My Boss FS-5U, instrument cables and powercables fit snugly into the deep front pouch without too much bulge. Review: Great for Roland FA-06 - I watch my husband lug around his keyboard all of the time and we were in between this one and another one from a larger known brand that had wheels. After much thought, his 61 key keyboard (Roland FA-06) was not heavy enough to justify the wheels. That being said, the backpack feel of this bag was well received. On another note, it’s hard to call this thing a bag, because it’s built more like a sturdy case. His previous case could be folded up into a normal sized book bag and was not offering any protection. This one is the opposite, it’s built stiff, tough and built to last. The back straps for carrying and transporting are permanently mounted from what it looks like, so if you’re not looking for that type of case, you may want to re-consider (In other words, they don’t come off).
