I've always purchased the wallet style, magnetized cases because they're convenient.....until your phone suddenly pops out and does a face plant on the ground. I don't worry with this case. The clip that pulls out to be a stand is a nice feature and so is the way it comes out from the outermost belt clip covering and flips into it. There is a clear screen cover built into this case, but I'm always on the go. I like to throw my phone in my purse or a backpack which is a never ending abyss so with this feature, the front cover for the screen won't be scratched by keys, pens, baby dinosaurs, whatever. I have heard people pay as much as $60 for these in the phone store. For less than half that price I've got a case that's built to last! I ordered the pink which is a deep medium pink shade. Easy to find and the case is staying clean. My phone was less than 2 months old, so I bought this case while the screen was being repaired. I have no doubt that this case will protect my phone. It was hard to tell from the description, but it does have a plastic cover on the front to protect the screen. It does not seem to interfere with the functionality. This case was easier than the last one I had, to put on and off the phone. The only negative is that this case is so big and thick, my phone seems to be almost twice the size of my husbands (he has the same phone).
