Very well built. **Q: Width of arms?** A: The arms extend. Approx. 5.5" at the column and 21" add the ends fully retracted. They extend from there at approx. 1.5" per setting with 6 settings. The short answer is, they are wide enough lol!! **Q: Can this stand hold 2 88-key keyboards?** A: I would not do it personally.
