Made in Indonesia. I have used many cheaper brands and refilled cartridgesand they all plug the nossles, EXCEPT Epson. Cost more but they work the best. Likewise the color is the best regardless. --Roger W. **Q: what is the difference between 126 and 127** A: The 127 cartridge is labelled "extra high capacity" and contains more ink - sufficient to print approximately 1.5 times what a 126 cartridge will print. The 126 cartridge is labeled "high capacity" which translates to their standard cartridge. Both cartridges are identical physically and only differ by their label. Presumably the 127 is more full than the 126. You can buy both 127 and 126 versions of both the black and the color cartridges. Epson does not package a 4 pack of 127 cartridges (1 black, 3 colors). Instead they package a 127 black together with three 126 color cartridges. (Presumably their studies must indicate this will result in all cartridges running out at the same time). Alternatively you can purchase 127 Black cartridges individually or in 2-packs. And you can purchase 127 Color cartridges individually or in 3-packs containing all three colors. My own experience is that the cyan (yellow) is consumed slower than either black or the other colors. At this moment, I have three unused cyan127 cartridges from previously purchased 3-packs, while I've run out of the other colors. However from a pricing perspective, I've found that purchasing the 2-pack of black 127 together with the 3-pack of color 127 is the least cost option, even if I have surplus cyan. The individual pack prices are simply too high to not move to the multipack. **Q: are these easily refillable ???** A: Thomas: I've tried refilled ink cartridges and poor results caused more harm to my printer than good. Thereby, personally, I do not recommend the practice. I recommend getting new ones when needed. Right now I can say that I've had good luck with cartridge life and since one can replace each color individually they are a pretty good value if you get this 4-pak. (black+cyan+yel+magenta). Just estimate the various ship fees combined with package cost and choose your vendor.
