Ich dachte, es wäre eine Geschichte in Richtung Sachbuch oder Verhaltensanalyse...Leider sind es nur die persönlichen Erfahrungen von zwei Frauen datgestellt, sehr indiviuell, zudem nicht wirklich unterhaltsam geschrieben.

### ⭐⭐ Un livre assez décevant en fin de compte

Etant moi-même la "soeur aînée", j'étais curieuse de me plonger dans un livre qui était censé, entre autres, pointer les traits dont j'avais hérité du fait de ma position d'aînée. Surtout en voyant les nombreux avis positifs concernant ce dit livre.Malheureusement, ce livre n'a clairement pas été à la hauteur en ce qui me concerne. Il ne se concentre en réalité que sur les enfants nés d'une union heureuse, voulus par leurs parents, grandissant dans une jolie petite famille nucléaire et n'ayant qu'une différence d'âge minime avec leurs cadets. Comment peut-on se vanter de parler d'un "eldest daughter effect" quand clairement on délaisse la plupart de ces "aînées" pour peindre, qui plus est, un portrait totalement idyllique de l'enfance.Pour combler le tout, il n'y a aucune étude sérieuse qui vienne étayer les arguments.Bref, un livre sympa à lire mais clairement pas une "révélation", surtout si votre enfance ne s'inscrit pas dans ce joli stéréotype de la famille nucléaire.
