Review: 自宅で東芝Chromebook2（CB35-B3340）をWi-Fi接続していて電波が不安定な場所があるので、有線LANアダプタ（USB3-E1000）を注文しました。ASIX社のAX88179チップを使用。USB 3.0 とギガビット対応で実質600 Mbps 、無線より高速で安定したネット接続ができそうです。 海外のサイトで「Chromebookで使えた」というレビューはありますが機種名が書いてないので使えるか疑問でした。無事、ケーブルを接続しただけで有線（イーサネット接続済）に自動で切り替わりました。ルータ配下のGS105スイッチに1000MBで接続されてます。ブラウザも少し速くなった感じです。有線なので安定してます。 ＜気に入ったところ＞ 1. Ich brauchte ein USB Gigabit LAN mit Qualität. Große Datenmengen und Latenz spielen eine Rolle. Das Gerät sollte mir im Beruf und privat nützen. Ich habe dies gewählt aufgrund des Chipsatzes. Viele der parameter lassen sich bearbeiten und anpassen (gerade in Firmen braucht man die ab und zu). Viele Features sind unterstützt. Das ist kein Billig-Chip der die Performance nicht bringt. Sowohl unter Linux als auch unter Windows keine Probleme. Im Job bei der Entwicklung sind Zeitkritische operationen alsolut perfekt gemeistert, in der Administration Backups umherschieben in Windeseile. Keine Treiber nötig (bei meinen Anwendungsfällen), einfach einstecken, einrichten und los gehts. Nach den Tests hab ich den Adapter für meinen Compute Stick mit Kodi (auf ArchLinux) verpflichtet. Hochauflösende Videos von Netflix, Prime, Youtube, Twitch sind im Vergleich zu WLAN kein Problem mehr. Da der dort fest eingesetzt ist hab ich direkt noch einen zweiten mit USB A bestellt und wenn mein neuer Laptop die nächsten Monate verfügbar wird, werde ich mir den Stick auch mit USB C holen. Ich kann wirklich nur zu diesem Adapter raten. Wer etwas vernünftiges haben möchte ist gut beraten. Plugable bietet auch Kombinationen an mit LAN und weiteren USB Buchsen, für Laptop benutzer möglicherweise genau das geeignete.
