**Q: Anyone notice hot motors with this?**
A: Gear down.

**Q: Can I use this with a 12 volt lead acid battery?**
A: It doesn’t specify that it can. They only speak of Lipo and Nimh batteries.

**Q: Will this work with a 24v battery?**
A: The max voltage for that esc is 11.1 volts or a 3s lipo battery

**Q: Rebuilding my (ecx torment 1/10 2wd) will this esc work with a dynamite20t and 7.2v nicd 2000mah battery or do i need something else? thanks**
A: It will work fine. I'm pretty sure these are the ones ECX uses for their brushed stuff now.  It has switchable low voltage cutoff for lipo ,so you can run nicad ,nimh or lipo with it.  And you can go all the way down to a 15 turn brushed 540 motor
